Longest Rally for Sands Charity Event
Play Tennis and raise funds and awareness for Sands who provide support, information and education to anyone affected by the death of a baby before, during or shortly after birth.
The Longest Rally is the creation of local tennis coach, Lynton Joseph who along with his wife gave birth to their son Jonty on May 26, 2016. Jonty also went to heaven with many other angels on this day too. Both Lynton and his wife Cara, like other families in similar situations have received tremendous support from Sands Victoria. As a result and in order to honour their son, Jonty, ‘The Longest Rally’ was created to allow others to remember too. The Longest Rally has been set for October 29, 2017 at the East Coburg Tennis Club from 1pm to 8pm. The aim of the day is to raise funds and awareness of what Sands has been doing for over 30 years.
