Elite Tennis Academy

Elite Tennis Academy  ‘See you on the Courts’.

The Elite Tennis Academy is your one stop for all things tennis. At ETA we offer group lessons for people of all ages and backgrounds, private lessons, tailored programs, tennis competitions, social tennis, a restringing service with a pro shop on site, plus more!

Set up by Lynton Joseph, the Elite Tennis Academy has been providing leading tennis programs for over four decades and combines knowledge and experience from qualified staff. The tennis academy provides a holistic approach to player development and caters for children and adults from varying abilities and interests.

With our vision and dedication to promote tennis, maximize participation and be a community hub for the game, we are passionate about offering a diverse range of tennis programs to inspire and cater for people from all backgrounds and tennis abilities across 4 venues across the north of Melbourne.

In fostering this vision and commitment, we:

  • Offer specific pathway programs for junior players from ages 3 and up.
  • Provide lessons six days per week, delivered by passionate trained and qualified male and female coaches.
  • Tailor junior tennis programs from the grassroots level to player development and squads for advanced students.
  • Offer both adult social tennis and competition league opportunities across various days of the week.
  • Embrace the importance of community and social connectedness through offering social events at the club.
  • Promote an inclusive environment through offering inclusive programs for families, children and adults with special needs and people from the LGBTIQ community.
  • Dedicate time to promoting the importance of tennis and sport for physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Nurture child development and promote life skills such as sportsmanship, discipline, honesty, acceptance, trust and patience.
  • Conduct lessons in a positive, safe learning environment promoting skill development, as well as having fun.
  • Creating new programs and targets that for example promote female participation in the tennis.
  • Liaise closely with the major governing bodies of tennis and local council.
  • Ensure coaching staff complete regularly professional development to enhance skills and develop new ideas for on court activities.
